Annie Sung
Annie grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, but her journey has taken her across the world. She met Lauren at UNC Charlotte, where she studied Chemistry and Economics. After graduating, she spent 1.5 years in Taiwan through the Fulbright program, immersing herself in the culture, studying Chinese, and reconnecting with family. Now, she’s based in Chicago, where she works as an associate at a Value-Based Care group, focusing on optimizing patient experience and engagement for Medicaid and Medicare patients.
Beyond her career, Annie is passionate about health equity, digital art, ceramics, cooking, learning Chinese, and traveling. She’s currently working toward transitioning into a clinic-facing role and taking steps toward grad school. In the meantime, she hopes to travel more internationally, having spent the beginning of 2024 exploring different parts of the U.S. She’s also focused on growing her art business, blending creativity with her other passions.
